RE ROOF OF EXISTING ASPHALT / GRAVEL ROOF ON TIMBER SARKING
Carefully bend up wall flashings.
Strip existing bitumen roof membrane from timber sarking and dispose to tip.
Re-nail any loose or twisted boards with 90mm Galv. Flathead nails.
Lay Index RollBase directly to sarking, fix RollBbase to timber sarking with solvent based bitumen adhesive and  by random nailing at approx. 200mm centres generally and at 150mm centres at the perimeter edges for a width of 1500mm, with 19mm large flathead galvanized clout nails.
Apply by torch-on method and fully bonded to the underlay, the main waterproofing membrane sheet of 3mm thick, Talc finished, Index Fidia P, form to gutter and outlet as before, and dress up under copper flashing at the wall.
Dress membrane up and over the top of the nib edge at the front and the two ends.
Form membrane around steel braces and plinths.
Dress wall flashings back down.
