TORCHON RE ROOF OF EXISTING GRAVEL FINISHED ASPHALT / BITUMEN ROOF.
Remove the metal gutter from the section above the flat roof and dispose.
Remove the existing asphalt membrane roof from the sarking and dispose.
Denail the deck of any remaining clout nails.
Carefully remove the bottom tier of concrete roofing tiles.
Lay fibrebacked basesheet membrane to the main horizontal timber deck with bitumen adhesive and stagger nail all over at approx 200mm centres with 19mm large Head Galv., Clout nails.
At the internal gutter near the edges and to the internal upstands apply 3mm thick Torchon membrane, fully bonded to the timbers, molded to shape and joining to the fibrebacked basesheet with a 100mm lap heat bonded together, form to outlets.
Once entire roof is covered as above, apply by Torchon method 4mm Grey Mineral finished membrane, fully bonded to the underlays.
Dress Grey Mineral membrane 300mm under tiles.
Reinstate the concrete tiles.
Fit new section of guttering, Galvanised , to match with the original guttering.

VARIATIONS / EXTRAS.
To East side internal gutter, remove rotted timber sarking and replace with 150x25mm H3 Treated boards and install new 45x45mm fillets.
Where internal gutter has been previously built up level with 1'' flood coating of bitumen, apply multiple layers at 4mm thick to provide adequate fall during underlay application.
Dress Mineral membrane over perimeter edge and form 90mm turndown to fascia, using 2 ply hidden nailing method.
