Apply Index SpA Autotene Base P, 3mm thick sand surface Self Adhesive roof membrane to large internal gutter on Historic Embassy Theatre.
Coat Parapets with 5 coat acrylic fibreglass reinforced coating system.
Apply UV protective coating to self adhesive membrane.
the old copper gutter, coated with multiple coats of paint and sealants, here the wall counterflashing has been removed and the top of the copper taped with selfadhesive membrane as a temporary seal some hairline surface cracks in the plastered parapet have been repaired and the gutter coated with bitumen primer
the metal roofing has been loosened and pushed up, a reinforcing strip is being applied at the top of the inside edge of the gutter the new self adhesive membrane has been fitted in position and the backing is removed
to ensure good lap bonding at detail corners the membranes are heated with a flame torch refixing the metal roofing after the new membrane is finished
the gutter lining is completed the turn in at the wall chase has been plastered flush and the first 3 coats of acrylic with fibreglass reinforcement is applied to the parapets
the 2 top coats of the acrylic/fibreglass coating being applied applying the aluminium coating to the inside of the parapets and gutter base, cutting in underneath the coping
