Apply new 4mm thick APP Imper Red Granule surfaced Torchdown to exisiting smooth surfaced Built Up Roof.

this Built Up Roof over 40 years old is due an upgrade  the surface has been well maintained with regular painting with a UV reflective coating
the surface is primed with a bitumen primer  a 4mm thick Torchon membrane, with a Red Granule surface, is applied to the primed surface
bubbles and blisters are cut open and repaired flat before the new membrane is applied over  the new membrane partially completed
the heavy ferro-cement rooftop watertank is lifted to allow the roof membrane to be dressed through underneath  the membrane carried through, a new stand for the water tank
the horizontal completed  the upstand pieces being applied to the perimeter
this large rooftop vent is stripped of the old BUR covering  the vent is covered with underlay 3mm thick
the vent is completed in the same membrane as the rest of the roof  the roof work is completed, the Red Granule finish is darker due to thick cloud above
